The Description
Our ‘Gisbourne’ is a premium Calf Leather boot, featuring Goodyear welted rubber soles for greater longevity and grip. Gisbourne uses the ‘24’ last shape, and is available in a ‘f’ fitting. These men’s shoes are designed and engineered in Northamptonshire, England, and handmade in our high-grade factory in England.
We recommend using a shoehorn to help maintain the shape, prevent creasing of the heel, and allow the foot to glide in with ease – keeping your shoes looking their best and feeling comfortable from the first wear.
Please note, these shoes come with a complementary pair of protective cloth bags.
The Last
024
024 is one of two country last shapes Loake use currently. It is used for less formal shoes such as our iconic ‘Chester’ brogue and ‘Burford’ boot. Like most country style last shapes, 024 is a little roomier by design to allow for thicker socks to be worn. The toe shape is rounded on this last.
