The Loake Bedale is a premium brogue derby boot in rich burgundy calf leather, blending timeless style with rugged practicality. Built on the Pennine last, it is offered in a generous G fitting, providing extra width for lasting comfort. Designed to withstand the elements, Bedale features a bellowed tongue that helps protect against water penetration in the lace area. Its Goodyear welted Victory rubber sole delivers superior grip, durability, and the option of resoling for long-term wear. These men’s shoes are designed and engineered in Kettering, Northamptonshire, and handmade in our high-grade factory in England, showcasing Loake’s heritage craftsmanship.
We recommend using a shoehorn to help maintain the shape, prevent creasing of the heel, and allow the foot to glide in with ease – keeping your shoes looking their best and feeling comfortable from the first wear.
Pennine is another Country last shape, but in G width, which is a wide fitting. It is a roomy last, designed to give the wearer extra space within the shoe. If you normally take a medium width in Loake shoes, you may find a half size reduction to be necessary in order to obtain the right fit.
From hard-wearing Brogue Boots to elegant leather-soled Chelsea Boots, our range of Men’s Boots are available in leather or suede options, and feature a vast range of colours, styles and fits, to suit any occasion.
A collection of classic styles crafted from high-quality, calf leathers and featuring the famous Goodyear Welted construction. Reflecting the traditional heritage of Loake dating back to 1880, many of our hand-finished, luxurious styles in this collection have become icons in their own right.
All 1880 Classic styles are made in our Northamptonshire factory, located in the heart of England.
Don't just take our word for it though!
