The Description
The Loake Bannister is a premium trainer, crafted from smooth dark brown calf leather for a polished yet versatile finish. Built on the Trainer last, it provides a comfortable F fitting with a bold toe shape, balancing contemporary design with everyday practicality. These men’s shoes feature durable cemented rubber soles, offering excellent grip and long-lasting wear. Designed and engineered in Northamptonshire, England, and handmade in Loake’s high-grade factory in India, it combines British shoemaking expertise with modern styling. A refined sneaker that transitions seamlessly from casual to smart-casual settings.
We recommend using a shoehorn to help maintain the shape, prevent creasing of the heel, and allow the foot to glide in with ease – keeping your shoes looking their best and feeling comfortable from the first wear.
The Last
Trainer
Developed for our new trainer styles the ‘Trainer’ last is a standard width fitting. Please note that unlike our other lasts ‘Trainer’ is sized in European sizes, ranging from size 40 through to size 47. Customers will need to select their EU size equivalent when ordering shoes on this last, please see our Size Guide for details. We would suggest ordering the equivalent of your normal Loake shoe size in this style.
