The Description
Semi brogue oxford shoe made using the ‘Claridge’ last shape in G fitting. Seaham features a rubber stud sole and comes in burnished tan calf or black calf leather, and is made in England.
We recommend using a shoehorn to help maintain the shape, prevent creasing of the heel, and allow the foot to glide in with ease – keeping your shoes looking their best and feeling comfortable from the first wear.
The Last
Claridge
Another versatile last shape, Claridge is used for both classic English styles and more contemporary shoes. Claridge is a medium width last which should run true to size. There is a little extra (cosmetic only) length in the toe of this last, which has a slightly rounded point.
The Style
Semi Brogue
Featuring a straight toe-cap with subtle punched detailing around the toe or wing-cap, our semi-brogue men’s shoes offer a classic yet relaxed aesthetic. This uncomplicated style pairs effortlessly with both tailored suits and casual chinos, making it a versatile choice for smart-casual or formal occasions. Combining timeless design with Loake’s signature craftsmanship, these shoes provide comfort, quality, and understated elegance, delivering a dependable and stylish option for men seeking a refined, adaptable silhouette in their footwear collection.
The Collection
Professional
Loake have always been renowned for producing footwear to complement the more formal requirements of businessmen, city professionals or those in need of an elegant shoe for that special occasion. Designed in Kettering and produced in the Loake factories in Northamptonshire or India, these timeless and refined classics will add style and luxury to any outfit.
We think our Seaham is great...
