The Loake Mowbury is a premium pair of men’s shoes, crafted from rich dark brown waxy leather in a classic plain-tie design. Built on the Castle last, they provide a distinctive shape with a comfortable F fitting, ideal for versatile everyday wear. The traditional Goodyear welted rubber soles ensure durability, grip, and long-lasting performance, while retaining a refined aesthetic. Designed and engineered in Kettering, Northamptonshire, and handmade in our high-grade factory in England, Mowbury embodies Loake’s heritage of quality shoemaking. These men’s shoes offer a timeless combination of craftsmanship, practicality, and style for the modern gentleman.
We recommend using a shoehorn to help maintain the shape, prevent creasing of the heel, and allow the foot to glide in with ease – keeping your shoes looking their best and feeling comfortable from the first wear.
Please note, these shoes come with a complementary pair of protective cloth bags.
