The Description
The Loake Hoskins is a premium brogue Chelsea boot in rich tan calf leather, offering a perfect balance of style, durability, and practicality. Built on the Claridge last, it provides a comfortable F fitting with a sleek Chelsea boot silhouette, enhanced by classic brogue detailing for added character. Featuring Goodyear welted rubber soles, Hoskins delivers excellent grip, resilience, and the option of resoling for extended wear. These men’s shoes are designed and engineered in Kettering, Northamptonshire, and handmade in Loake’s high-grade factory in India, showcasing the brand’s tradition of craftsmanship and timeless British design.
We recommend using a shoehorn to help maintain the shape, prevent creasing of the heel, and allow the foot to glide in with ease – keeping your shoes looking their best and feeling comfortable from the first wear.
The Last
Claridge
Another versatile last shape, Claridge is used for both classic English styles and more contemporary shoes. Claridge is a medium width last which should run true to size. There is a little extra (cosmetic only) length in the toe of this last, which has a slightly rounded point.
