The Description
Our ‘Castlegate’ is a premium Calf Leather brogue, featuring Goodyear welted rubber soles for greater longevity and grip. Castlegate uses the ‘minster’ last shape, and is available in a ‘f’ fitting. These mens shoes are designed and engineered in Kettering and made in our high-grade factory in England.
We recommend using a shoehorn to help maintain the shape, prevent creasing of the heel, and allow the foot to glide in with ease – keeping your shoes looking their best and feeling comfortable from the first wear.
The Last
Minster
One of our most versatile shoe lasts, Minster is used for several of our newest 1880 Classic formal shoes. It is an average width last with a round toe shape and runs true to size.
