Featuring Goodyear welted Dainite rubber soles, Carmichael provides excellent durability, grip, and the option for resoling, ensuring years of dependable wear. Designed in collaboration with Barbour, this loafer combines Loake’s shoemaking heritage with Barbour’s British country styling. Handmade in Loake’s high-grade factory in Northamptonshire, England, Carmichael is a versatile and enduring choice, equally suited to work, weekend, or relaxed formal occasions.
Shoe Care:
- Shoes with a pull-up finish are produced with a blend of natural oils, greases, and waxes. This leather will continue to improve over time, with natural wear adding to its character. Massage with fingers to heat and distribute the oils, softening and smoothing any blemishes.
- The Loake Oiled Leather Wax can help revive and protect the shoe. We recommend a lighter application, as a little goes a long way.
We recommend using a shoehorn to help maintain the shape, prevent creasing of the heel, and allow the foot to glide in with ease – keeping your shoes looking their best and feeling comfortable from the first wear.
