The Description
The Loake Bannister is a premium trainer crafted in a rich cedar leather finish, combining refined design with casual versatility. Built on the Trainer last, it provides a generous F fitting and bold toe shape for comfort and modern appeal. Featuring robust cemented rubber soles, these men’s shoes offer reliable grip and durability, making it a smart choice for daily wear. Designed and engineered in Kettering, Northamptonshire, and handmade in Loake’s high-grade factory in India, it showcases the brand’s heritage craftsmanship. A sophisticated sneaker that pairs effortlessly with both tailored and relaxed outfits.
We recommend using a shoehorn to help maintain the shape, prevent creasing of the heel, and allow the foot to glide in with ease – keeping your shoes looking their best and feeling comfortable from the first wear.
The Last
Trainer
Developed for our new trainer styles the ‘Trainer’ last is a standard width fitting. Please note that unlike our other lasts ‘Trainer’ is sized in European sizes, ranging from size 40 through to size 47. Customers will need to select their EU size equivalent when ordering shoes on this last, please see our Size Guide for details. We would suggest ordering the equivalent of your normal Loake shoe size in this style.
