Designed and engineered in Kettering, Northamptonshire, the 522 is handmade in Loake’s high-grade factory in Portugal, ensuring excellent craftsmanship and quality throughout. We recommend using a shoehorn to help maintain the shape, prevent creasing of the heel, and allow the foot to glide in with ease – keeping your shoes looking their best and feeling comfortable from the first wear.
The Last
Boat
Used for our more relaxed Deck shoe styles, this last shape features a short, rounded toe shape. Most customers will find the sizing to be less generous than our formal styles, so you may wish to try a half size larger with this last.
