The Description
The Loake Ryde is a premium black waxy leather plain-tie men’s shoe, designed to combine durability with timeless style. Built on the Castle last, it offers a comfortable F fitting and a strong yet elegant profile, making it versatile for both formal and smart-casual settings. Featuring Goodyear welted Castle rubber soles, Ryde provides outstanding grip, longevity, and the option of resoling, ensuring years of dependable wear. Designed and engineered in Kettering, Northamptonshire, and handmade in Loake’s high-grade factory in England, these men’s shoes reflect the finest traditions of British shoemaking, delivering lasting comfort, quality, and understated sophistication.
We recommend using a shoehorn to help maintain the shape, prevent creasing of the heel, and allow the foot to glide in with ease – keeping your shoes looking their best and feeling comfortable from the first wear.
Please note, these shoes come with a complementary pair of protective cloth bags.
