The Description
Our ‘Pimlico’ is a premium leather Chukka Boot, featuring Goodyear welted rubber studded soles for greater longevity and grip. Pimlico uses the ‘Capital’ last shape, and is available in a ‘F’ fitting. These men’s shoes are designed and engineered in Kettering and made in our high-grade factory in England.
We recommend using a shoehorn to help maintain the shape, prevent creasing of the heel, and allow the foot to glide in with ease – keeping your shoes looking their best and feeling comfortable from the first wear.
The Last
Capital
One of our most versatile shoe lasts, Capital is used across a wide range of our 1880 men’s shoes, from formal styles such as the ‘Aldwych’ toe-cap Oxford to refined boots including ‘Pimlico’. It features a medium width fitting with a subtle chisel toe shape, creating a sharp yet balanced silhouette. Designed to run true to size, Capital offers a dependable and comfortable fit. A longstanding customer favourite, nine distinctive styles are currently crafted on this popular last.
