The Description
Our ‘McDowell’ is a premium monk-shoe, featuring Goodyear welted leather soles for greater longevity and grip. McDowell uses the ‘legend’ last shape for a generous fit and bold toe shape, and is available in a ‘f’ fitting. McDowell is handmade in England at our Northamptonshire factory.
We recommend using a shoehorn to help maintain the shape, prevent creasing of the heel, and allow the foot to glide in with ease – keeping your shoes looking their best and feeling comfortable from the first wear.
The Last
Legend
Legend is a well-established last shape that has been in use for some years. It features a squared off toe shape of standard length. The sizing of this last in F fitting should be true to size. The G fitting version of this last offers a more generous fit in terms of width.
