The Description
The Loake Kensington is a premium dark brown suede penny loafer, offering refined style with everyday versatility. Built on the traditional College last, it provides a comfortable F fitting and a timeless loafer profile, making it an ideal choice for both smart and casual looks. Featuring Goodyear welted rubber soles, these men’s shoes deliver excellent durability, reliable grip, and the benefit of resoling, ensuring years of wear. Designed and engineered in Kettering, Northamptonshire, and handmade in our high-grade factory in England, Kensington reflects Loake’s heritage of fine British shoemaking, blending craftsmanship, comfort, and understated elegance in a sophisticated loafer.
We recommend using a shoehorn to help maintain the shape, prevent creasing of the heel, and allow the foot to glide in with ease – keeping your shoes looking their best and feeling comfortable from the first wear.
Please note, these shoes come with a complementary pair of protective cloth bags.
The Last
College
Loafer last shape, designed for use with slip on styles. The College last has a standard length toe, with a pointed round toe shape. This last generally runs true to size, although it is designed to fit snugly as befits a loafer style.
