The Description
Our ‘Freud’ is a premium Derby Plain Tie Shoe, featuring Goodyear welted lightweight Commando soles. Freud uses the ‘Artist’ last shape for a generous fit and bold toe shape and is available in a ‘F’ fitting. These shoes are designed and engineered in Kettering and made in our high-grade factory in India, using similar materials and finishing techniques as used in our Northamptonshire factory.
We recommend using a shoehorn to help maintain the shape, prevent creasing of the heel, and allow the foot to glide in with ease – keeping your shoes looking their best and feeling comfortable from the first wear.
The Last
Artist
Developed exclusively for ‘The Artist Collection’, the Loake Artist is a highly versatile last shape in a regular F-Fit, that offers a contemporary silhouette and features an elegant almond toe shape. First introduced for Autumn Winter 2020, Artist works well in a stylish range of Derby, Brogue Shoe and Boots options, for those who want a combination of contemporary design and traditional Loake craftsmanship.
