The Description
Our ‘Brighton’ is a classic slip on tassel loafer and is otherwise known as ‘The Original Loake Loafer’. Featuring Goodyear Welted leather soles for classic styling. Brighton uses our ‘97’ last shape for a narrower and tighter fit, and is available in an ‘E’ fitting. Brighton is handmade in England at our Northamptonshire factory.
We recommend using a shoehorn to help maintain the shape, prevent creasing of the heel, and allow the foot to glide in with ease – keeping your shoes looking their best and feeling comfortable from the first wear.
The Last
97
This is one of our narrower lasts and is also shorter in comparison with most others we use. Customers with wider feet will not find this last suitable. If you take F fitting Loake shoes normally, you may also find this last a little tight in your usual size. 97 is also one of our older last shapes for a classic look.
