The Description
Stylish derby brogue shoe, produced using the ‘Ridge’ last shape. Kruger is available in tan, burgundy and dark brown burnished calf leathers, or black calf, and is made in India.
We recommend using a shoehorn to help maintain the shape, prevent creasing of the heel, and allow the foot to glide in with ease – keeping your shoes looking their best and feeling comfortable from the first wear.
The Last
Ridge
Our most popular last in the Design Loake range, Ridge has an elongated toe with a squared off finish. Ridge gets its name from the ridge upon the top of the shoe, toward the front. It should fit true to size, but like Matrix and Blade especially, it has extra cosmetic length in the front.
The Style
Brogue
No English gentleman’s wardrobe is complete without a pair of handcrafted Goodyear welted brogues. These classic men’s shoes, featuring traditional punched holes originally designed to allow water to drain, are available in a wide selection of leather or rubber soles. Choose from Oxford or Derby constructions, offered in a vast array of colours and styles. Combining timeless design with Loake’s renowned craftsmanship, these brogues deliver enduring quality, comfort, and sophistication, making them an essential addition to any discerning gentleman’s collection.
The Collection
Design
The designers at Loake are always striving to add styles into the range that are more contemporary and inspirational. Whilst maintaining the high standards of craftsmanship, hand-finishing and quality of materials used, our Design collection offers up-to-date, contemporary styling and special design features that enhance any occasion or simply day-to-day, versatile use.
We think our Kruger is great...
Don't just take our word for it though!
