English made Men’s shoes (and boots) are generally made in fittings E, F, G and H and these can be classified simplistically as follows:

E = Narrow

F = Regular

G = Wide

H = Extra Wide

The bulk of our styles are made in F fitting, as statistics show that worldwide this is the most appropriate fitting for a majority of males, but we also offer a good selection of G fitting shoes.

The Description

Premium double buckle monk design, made in England. Wensum features a Goodyear welted leather sole and veg tanned linings. Wensum is available in Conker Brown or Dark Brown burnished calf leathers, or Black calf leather.

The Last

River

A versatile last shape used in our 1880 Classic, Professional and Export Grade collections. It features a slightly elongated toe with a fine chisel shape for a slim appearance, but provides a well proportioned fit across the joint, as well as increased arch support.

Monk Shoe

With a technical design that uses no laces, only buckles, double strap or single strap Monk shoes, look great under a pair of suit trousers. Less formal than an Oxford, but more so than a Brogue, the Monk shoe is a versatile style for any occasion.
