The Description
An ode to design, craft and attention to detail, the Loake Locke is a hand-painted Loafer that appears within our Artist Collection and celebrates the creativity and artistry that comes together at Loake.
Built on our ‘Saddle’ last shape, Locke is a handmade loafer with a full leather lining, and a leather insole for added comfort.
Featuring a slick green Goodyear Welted distressed sole in leather & rubber, the true beauty of these loafers lies in the way they are finished. Each brush stroke of colour is carefully brushed by hand, layer by layer over a natural base until that perfect, tone is achieved, ensuring each and every pair is truly unique in its character, patina and antiquing.
Locke is made in India.
We recommend using a shoehorn to help maintain the shape, prevent creasing of the heel, and allow the foot to glide in with ease – keeping your shoes looking their best and feeling comfortable from the first wear.
The Last
Saddle
Saddle is loafer last shape, designed for use with slip on shoes, this last should run true to size. Saddle features a standard length toe shape with a relatively narrow rounded point.
