The Description
Our ‘Imperial’ is a premium classic Penny Loafer, featuring Goodyear welted leather soles for beauty and elegance. Imperial uses the ‘College’ last shape for a comfortable fit and toe shape, and is available in a ‘F’ fitting. Imperial is handmade in England at our Northamptonshire factory.
We recommend using a shoehorn to help maintain the shape, prevent creasing of the heel, and allow the foot to glide in with ease – keeping your shoes looking their best and feeling comfortable from the first wear.
The Last
College
The College last is a classic loafer shape, specifically designed for slip-on men’s shoes. It features a standard-length toe with a gently pointed, rounded profile, creating a refined yet versatile silhouette. This last generally runs true to size; however, it is intentionally designed to fit snugly, as befits a traditional loafer style. The close fit ensures secure wear and a streamlined appearance, while maintaining comfort and flexibility.
