The Description
The Loake Imperial is a premium pair of men’s shoes, crafted in a timeless penny loafer style from soft dark brown suede for a refined yet versatile look. Built on the traditional College last, this version comes in a wider G fitting, offering extra comfort and room while maintaining an elegant silhouette. The Goodyear welted rubber soles ensure durability, excellent grip, and the option to be resoled, extending the lifespan of the shoes. Designed and engineered in Kettering, Northamptonshire, and handmade in our high-grade factory in England, Imperial represents the finest in British shoemaking traditions.
We recommend using a shoehorn to help maintain the shape, prevent creasing of the heel, and allow the foot to glide in with ease – keeping your shoes looking their best and feeling comfortable from the first wear.
The Last
College
Loafer last shape, designed for use with slip on styles. The College last has a standard length toe, with a pointed round toe shape. This last generally runs true to size, although it is designed to fit snugly as befits a loafer style.
