The Description
Our ‘Gunny’ is a premium plain-tie, featuring Goodyear welted leather soles for greater longevity and grip. Gunny uses the ‘ridge’ last shape for a generous fit and bold toe shape, and is available in a ‘f’ fitting. These shoes are designed and engineered in Kettering and made in our high-grade factory in India, using similar materials and finishing techniques as used in our Northamptonshire factory.
We recommend using a shoehorn to help maintain the shape, prevent creasing of the heel, and allow the foot to glide in with ease – keeping your shoes looking their best and feeling comfortable from the first wear.
The Last
Ridge
Our most popular last in the Design Loake range, Ridge has an elongated toe with a squared off finish. Ridge gets its name from the ridge upon the top of the shoe, toward the front. It should fit true to size, but like Matrix and Blade especially, it has extra cosmetic length in the front.
