The Description
The Loake Donington is a lightweight men’s driving loafer, crafted with comfort and practicality in mind. Built on the dedicated Driver last, it offers a generous fit with a bold toe shape, giving this loafer a distinctive profile. Featuring flexible moccasin rubber driving soles, Donington delivers excellent grip and durability, making it perfect for both relaxed weekend wear and summer driving. Designed and engineered in Kettering, Northamptonshire, these loafers are handmade in Loake’s high-grade factory in Portugal, using similar materials and finishing techniques as found in our Northamptonshire-made shoes. A versatile slip-on that combines easy going style with premium craftsmanship.
We recommend using a shoehorn to help maintain the shape, prevent creasing of the heel, and allow the foot to glide in with ease – keeping your shoes looking their best and feeling comfortable from the first wear.
The Last
Driver
Moccasin last shape used for our range of Driving shoes. Please note that unlike our other lasts ‘Driver’ is sized in European sizes, ranging from size 40 through to size 47. Customers will need to select their EU size equivalent when ordering shoes on this last, please see our Size Guide for details.
