The Description
The Loake Bedale is a premium brogue derby boot in burnished tan calf leather, offering a perfect balance of classic style and robust performance. Crafted on the Pennine last, it provides a generous G fitting, making it an excellent choice for those who prefer a wider fit. Designed for practicality as well as elegance, Bedale features a bellowed tongue to help prevent water penetration at the lace area. Its Goodyear welted Victory rubber sole delivers superior grip, durability, and the option of resoling. These men’s shoes are designed and engineered in Kettering, Northamptonshire, and handmade in England, reflecting Loake’s enduring British craftsmanship.
We recommend using a shoehorn to help maintain the shape, prevent creasing of the heel, and allow the foot to glide in with ease – keeping your shoes looking their best and feeling comfortable from the first wear.
Please note, these shoes come with a complementary pair of protective cloth bags.
The Last
Pennine
Pennine is another Country last shape, but in G width, which is a wide fitting. It is a roomy last, designed to give the wearer extra space within the shoe. If you normally take a medium width in Loake shoes, you may find a half size reduction to be necessary in order to obtain the right fit.
