Built on the traditional College last, it is offered in a comfortable G fitting, providing extra room while retaining a classic loafer silhouette. Featuring durable Goodyear welted rubber soles, Imperial delivers grip, longevity, and the option of resoling for years of reliable wear. Designed and engineered in Kettering, Northamptonshire, and handmade in our high-grade factory in England, it reflects Loake’s heritage of fine British shoemaking. A timeless loafer that balances sophistication, practicality, and comfort.
We recommend using a shoehorn to help maintain the shape, prevent creasing of the heel, and allow the foot to glide in with ease – keeping your shoes looking their best and feeling comfortable from the first wear.
The Last
College
Loafer last shape, designed for use with slip on styles. The College last has a standard length toe, with a pointed round toe shape. This last generally runs true to size, although it is designed to fit snugly as befits a loafer style.
