English made Men’s shoes (and boots) are generally made in fittings E, F, G and H and these can be classified simplistically as follows:

E = Narrow
F = Regular
G = Wide
H = Extra Wide

The bulk of our styles are made in F fitting, as statistics show that worldwide this is the most appropriate fitting for a majority of males, but we also offer a good selection of G fitting shoes.

The Description

Our ‘Capel’ is a premium Calf Leather plain-tie, featuring Goodyear welted leather-rubber soles for greater longevity and grip. Capel uses the ‘lake’ last shape, and is available in a ‘f’ fitting. These men’s shoes are designed and engineered in Kettering, Northamptonshire and handmade in our high-grade factory in India.

We recommend using a shoehorn to help maintain the shape, prevent creasing of the heel, and allow the foot to glide in with ease – keeping your shoes looking their best and feeling comfortable from the first wear.
